![]() I made cute labels for the jars that said “Thanks for a SMASHING good time” that I put on the jars. I took clear glass jars and filled them with kinetic sand. Monster Truck Party FavorsĪs a thank you to our friends for coming to our party I made the cutest party favors. They were totally entertained by the giant tires that they spent most of the party playing with them. They wrestled, they played “bumper cars” with them and we did relay races with them. The big hit of the party though was the giant inflatable tires. We are obsessed with these because kids of all ages (and even the adults) get in on the fun! You just roll it out and set out some things to color with and people will come and go as they please! Its the perfect activity for keeping little ones busy! I also rolled out a giant Monster Truck Themed Color Sheet on the kids picnic table. They took turns placing wheel stickers on the poster trying to get them in the right spot on the truck. I hung the poster on the fence and the kids all lined up. For the first game we played “Pin the Wheels on the Monster Truck”. We had beautiful weather which was so nice because we were able to spend the majority of the time outside. Then they all made their way to the backyard. The first thing we did when the kids arrived was pick out a monster truck tattoo. ![]() I placed a monster truck on top and ta-da…the perfect Monster Truck Cake for a little boy! It was a pleasant surprised when I picked up the cake that they added in some ramps too. ![]() I had the grocery store make a simple chocolate cake and asked them to add some crumbled up chocolate cake/ crushed cookies on the top to look like dirt. But my favorite thing on the table were the chocolate covered Oreo cookies that looked like tires. ![]() I put mini bags of chips in my wood crates and filled a drink bin full of Crush orange soda and waters. We grilled up some hot dogs and made pasta salad. The Birthday boy requested hot dogs which went perfectly with our party theme. Some other cute decor items were the tire shaped cups we had displayed and the giant inflatable tires (keep reading to see how we used these for games too). Next to it I used a large metal crate where I placed his cake and a gold trophy. You can download and print this cute sign at home by CLICKING HERE. I put a black and white checkered tablecloth on the table and on top I displayed a sign that read “SMASH Put A Little Mud on Your Tires”. Wondering how to make a balloon garland? We used blue and orange balloons (Duncan’s choice) and some black and white checkered balloons in the mix. I placed it on the kitchen island and had balloons coming out from it.įor the food table I made a giant “X” balloon garland. The kids got such a kick out of a REAL tire on the table. I held onto the tire so we could use it for the party and it was the perfect addition. When I started collecting decorations for the party I didn’t realize that I would be given the greatest decor item of all time! Two weeks before the party I got a flat tire on my way to pick the kids up from school. This is how we set up the most adorable and FUN Monster Truck Party! For months he told me he wanted a Monster Truck Party, and honestly I was a little nervous to pull this one together.
